The purpose of the group is to help people with an interest in Italian language and culture connect with one another, both online and in person. Membership is free and the group is open to all levels of Italian language from zero to native fluency.
The group organizes bi-weekly events that offer the opportunity to practive Italian with other very friendly and enthusiastic speakers in a highly informal and comfortable setting.
On a monthly basis the group screens and discusses Italian films. The films are a wonderful way to share an Italian cultural experience. After the film the members enjoy a small reception which allows them to socialize together and discuss the films.
There are also Italian language workshops for beginners and intermediate level speakers every week. These meetings are more structured and thus perfect for beginners or anyone feeling insecure in their ability to conduct conversations in Italian.
